After getting my undergraduate degree in psychology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, I moved to Los Angeles to begin four years of training at the UCLA School of Dentistry. After completing my dental degree at UCLA in 1993, I returned to my hometown, Nampa, ID, where I began working with Dr. Marriner Bingham. After Dr. Bingham’s retirement, I continued to work with his staff to serve the dental needs of his patients, as well as many new ones.
Having grown up in Nampa, I was fortunate to fall in love with the Treasure Valley. That’s why I came back to Nampa after my schooling in Utah and California. The most exciting part about returning to Idaho to practice my profession is that I get to work with friends who love our Valley as much as I do. During my studies at UCLA, I met my wife, Sheree, while she was working as an electrical engineer in Southern California. Sheree now has a secondary education teaching credential to go along with her electrical engineering degree. She has taught physics and math at Nampa’s Skyview High School.

I was born in Sandy, Utah, grew up in the beautiful small town of Sisters, Oregon and now I love living the Treasure Valley. I have always enjoyed living in the west, I completed my undergraduate biology degree at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and then headed to Portland, Oregon to where I graduated with honors from Oregon Health and Sciences University with my dental degree (DMD). I had a wonderful professional experience beginning my dental career at a busy community health clinic in Nampa (Terry Reilly Health Services). In January of 2006 I joined the practice here at Nampa Smiles. I look forward to coming to the office each day and helping all of our patients to achieve great dental health.
It was in Portland where I met my husband Scott, a native of Boise. He told me great things about the area and now I am glad to call Idaho home. I love to run, hike, ski and travel on the days I am not in the office. And after being a terrible cook in the past, cooking is now one of my favorite things to do.
I grew up in Portland Oregon and after attending the University of Idaho for my undergraduate degree in biology, I knew I eventually wanted to make Idaho my permanent home. I spent five years as a dental assistant before confirming that my true passion was to become a dentist. I then moved to Arizona for dental school and attended A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. While there I was fortunate to go on three rotations at community health clinics in surrounding states that helped shape the provider I am today. As a dentist we are not only treating a tooth, but that tooth is connected to a whole person, that is then connected to a family and is connected to a community, and we want our patients to be their best and contribute their best to the community. I moved back to Idaho in 2021 and love working with the team at Nampa Smiles, it truly feels like a family. I appreciate learning wonderful insight from my colleagues and mentors here at Nampa Smiles and through continuing education opportunities. I look forward to providing excellent care to all patients in this community at several of our office locations. In my free time I enjoy watching sports, gardening, and being outside with my two hound dogs exploring new hiking trails or dog parks.
